Portfolio: Climate Policy and Outreach
Purpose of the grant: The project aims to offer a one-and-a-half-day workshop for ICS and Laudes Foundation grantees, focused on expanding participant's knowledge in advocacy. The workshop will have both theoretical aspects (such as making an advocacy plan, theory of change, building narratives, mapping stakeholders etc.) as well as practical exercises. Our goal is to strengthen grantees' capacity to do advocacy in the Brazilian Legislative Assembly.

ABPN - Associação Brasileira de Pesquisadores Negros
Duration: 10 month
Portfolio: Climate Policy and Outreach
Purpose of the grant: To support research on environmental racism and climate change to be developed by black researchers across Brazil. The project lasts 10m and will involve: (a) scholarships for students affiliated to ABPN, (b) holding an event to discuss the results of the research; (c) webinars on climate science and racism, with participants from the climate movement and the black movement.
