Purpose of the grant: To produce reports and news, with infographic and cartographic support, about the historic of environmental violations done by candidates of local elections in Brazil in 2020, focusing on the 256 municipalities of the Deforestation Arc in the Amazon. One expects to increase the exposition of political bonds of deforesters and to support to the choice power of the electors.

Purpose of the grant: Considering the role of Recife city government on tackling locally the global climate change, this project aims to mobilize the political environment and the civil society organizations (CSOs), through a WEB Platform of Commitments, Goals, and Results Monitoring. -It'll be developed a Municipal Climate Action Proposal (2021 - 2024), with mitigation and adaptation indicators, selected to maximize benefits for the low income population and the promotion of an inclusive and low carbon economy; -It'll be strengthened climate governance, looking for a maximum number of candidates commited to the proposed Action Plan, at same time each participant CSOs will be part of the monitoring and evaluation process; -The whole experience it will be reported for further reference.

Fundação Amazonas Sustentável

Portfolio: Urban Amazon
Purpose of the grant: To strengthen the socioenvironmental and climate agendas in the city of Manaus, the project will create a Public Policy Panel, which aims to contribute to processes of monitoring, participation, and formulation proposals on such topics. The Panel will present the monitoring in its digital and interactive basis, and it will also facilitate debates between public authorities, society, and movements.

Purpose of the grant: To strengthen the network of actors and campaigns for environmental and climate policies in the Amazon, the project will continue to train activists in the region through the Mobilizers Program. Focusing on the cities of Belém, Boa Vista, Macapá, Manaus, and São Luís, the project will include the training of local mobilizers as mentors, developing an inter-regional leadership front.
