Purpose of the grant: To review the labeling of household refrigerators in Brazil and bring it closer to best international practices. The project also inaugurates the formal transition of the coordination of the Kigali Project to the IEI.

Portfolio: Climate Policy and Outreach
Purpose of the grant: The project seeks to produce a collective publication that brings together contributions from civil society about the discussions that emerged with the filing of an action against the violation of a constitutional fundamental right (ADPF) 708, whose object is the omission of the federal government in the management of the Climate Fund. The starting point of the project are the contributions presented by civil society at the public hearing held by the STF.

MANDACARU (WDCD)
Duration: 6 months
Portfolio: Low Carbon Economy
Purpose of the grant: To engage creative designers in the development of solutions for waste and to leverage the circular economy, the NO WASTE Challenge will take place simultaneously in various cities. The project covers the phase of Research and Mapping and includes experts from several areas – government, academia, environmental organizations, civil society and the creative community.

Duration: 12 months
Portfolio: Climate Policy and Outreach
Purpose of the grant: To strengthen the legal capabilities of a key actor in the Brazilian climate field, in order to contain setbacks in the environmental and climate governance and to restore the effectiveness of public policies. The project seeks to consolidate the strategic and combined use of social and political advocacy with strategic litigation in the realization of national and international objectives regarding climate change.
