Production of a tool to support decisions of governments and financiers that are in favor of local renewable sources to the detriment of power plants that burn imported natural gas.

Purpose of the grant: To make the demands of social and economic development as central to the access to energy in the Amazonian region, by the construction of indicators that correlate the access to renewable energy with the improvement of the social and economic conditions in the communities of the region.

Portfolio: Climate Policy
Purpose of the grant: This project has as a specific objective the construction of a scenario of the GHG emissions of the country in order to achieve more ambitious goals in 2025 and 2030 that are validated by different stakeholders, and presented at COP26, making the NDC an instrument of government planning in all the sectors, in the interest in achieving the climate neutrality of the country by 2050.

Portfolio: Urban Amazon
Purpose of the grant: To generate knowledge and disseminate information related to the climate and health in the Legal Amazon, the project presents a study that will identify and estimate the main health problems of the region that could be aggravated by the climate crisis. The material for the communication of the data intends to mobilize the interested actors and encourage actions in favor of better public policies in the Amazonian cities.
